Kane makes history
Harry Kane’s brace against DR Congo took him to 13 World Cup goals — one clear of Pelé (12) on the all-time list. England trailed early (Cipenga 7′) before Kane struck twice in 11 minutes (75′ and 86′).
USA through with 10 men
The USA beat Bosnia 2–0 despite Folarin Balogun’s red card in the 64th minute. Balogun had opened the scoring (45′), but his dismissal — confirmed by VAR — means an automatic ban for the Round-of-16 tie against Belgium on 6 July.
